Nitrile rubber sheeting (NBR) is a synthetic material that is used in a wide range of applications due to its resistance to most petroleum based fluids, oils and greases. Nitrile offers moderate mechanical properties and has satisfactory resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, but is not suitable for use with ketones.
Nitrile Rubber (Buna-N) (NBR), a quality blended commercial grade rubber that has moderate resistance to synthetic and natural oils and greases. It can be considered as a good general purpose rubber with an excellent balance of physical and chemical properties. Material has good abrasion resistance. Nitrile gives excellent rubber-metal bonds and good resilience. Our Nitrile also has good ozone resistance but is not recommended for extreme conditions. Typical applications include gaskets, bumpers, seals and many more applications
