Content levels of neoprene can vary widely. Application problems may occur when using blended or commercial grades of neoprene sheet of unknown quality levels in contact with oil, solvents and fuels. In general, neoprene material resists ozone, sunlight, oxidation and many petroleum derivatives. It provides good resistance to weather, combustion, water, and many chemicals.
Read MoreSend InquiryEPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer) has excellent resistance to ozone, sunlight, severe weather conditions, oxygen, acids, alkalis, ketones, and aging; outstanding color stability, odor-free characteristics, high heat resistance and dielectric qualities. All of this makes it ideal for outdoor applications and as a general purpose gasket material for air, hot and cold water, saturated steam. EPDM rubber gasket material is used for parts in the appliance industry; as low pressure boiler gaskets; weather stripping, boots, dust covers, sleeves, mounts. It has a poor resistance to fuels and oils.
Read MoreSend InquiryNitrile is highly resistant to petroleum oils, mineral oils, vegetable oils and many acids and is resistant to a broader range of aromatic hydrocarbons than neoprene. It has good elongation properties, as well as adequate resilience, tensile and compression set. These advantages make nitrile gaskets ideal for applications where resistance to oils, solvents and fuels is of critical importance, including diaphragms, hose gaskets, tubing, cups and seals for fuel and hydraulic components.

Read MoreSend InquirySBR is a copolymer of styrene and butadiene and has properties similar to Natural Rubber. It has good abrasion resistance, excellent impact strength, very good resilience and a high tensile strength. The temperature range of SBR is -40˚F to 180˚F. SBR can be compounded for use as lining rubber, conveyor belt covers and other extremely demanding applications.
